The term cougar really pisses me off. Why are single women over 40 who dare to leave the house, dare to wear something nice, dare to want sex, dare to want a relationship, “predatory”?

Isn’t it a shame then that when we now hear the once distinctive anthem “I am woman. Hear me roar”, we associate it only with women we consider predatory?
