Amazon defeats ‘stereotypical Jewish’ claims in new trial offer



By Michelle Casady (October 19, 2021, 4:15 p.m. EDT) – An Israeli tech startup that accused Amazon of playing on Jewish stereotypes to bias a jury and defeat patent infringement claims will not get a new trial, a Texas federal government said the judge in a hearing Tuesday, adding he was “extremely offended” by the allegations he found to be baseless.
